10 December 2008 - BBQ Reunion

So I'm a bit slow at posting up my blogs...haha...this happened on the 10th December and it's 18th today...haha...had a little problem with first, my laptop, then the internet... sometimes I wish I can bribe my bro into taking IT or some computer course thingy...then he can fix all my computer problems..haha...but it ain't gonna happen...so yeah...still need the computer technicians...OR I could find a technopath (like Micah from Heroes), so that he can "tell" my laptop to fix itself...XP

Right, enough about computers...back to the BBQ thing... thanks to A Lai and the others who organised it, we had a BBQ mini reunion party at Tanjung Aru Beach... hmmm...not exactly a form 6 reunion, coz Willie was there, Li Ming was there and Timmy was there...haha... but we had fun catching up with each other...

A Lai and me...He's in NTU Singapore, studying CEE - means what ar?? Civil and Environmental Engineering? something like that lar... been very good friends since form 2 ;)

Li Ming and me... my classmate from Primary 4 - Form 5, then she was blessed enough to be offered a scholarship by Petronas, now studying Geology (i think) in Curtin University, Sarawak

Willie, and me....classmates from form 1 to 5...I still remember Carol used to call him Free Willie,haha....so cute...He's studying Chemical Engineering in Curtin University in Sarawak also.. He's gonna be a 3rd year student when he starts his next sem, and I'm still a first year..WOW

Wong Yii Seng, or Wong Yii, or Ester... I still dont really know how that name (Ester) came about though..heard it started from the Ester experiment we did in Chemistry class in form 5... Studying Economics and Mathematics in UMS... I told ya Economics was super interesting...:P

The guys "trying" to dump A Lai into the sea...but unfortunately, 4 guys are just not enough..LOL

JOURNEY BACK HOME...

Hehe...so I have been lazy...haven't blog for quite some time...not because I have nothing to blog about, in fact I have so much to blog about now that this is gonna be an ultra long entry..keke..but yeah, just so you guys know, I've been back in KK for some time now...flew back on the 21st of November...actually could have waited to come back with my sis on the 25th, but I just couldn't resist the opportunity of traveling alone, especially when I'm flying with MAS..(rare treat...:p)

So, coming back to the day I flew back, wasn't that easy, especially the part where we had to clear out ALL our stuff from our rooms for the hols...MAN, I didn't know that I had THAT much stuff...XD.. but anyway, with that done, my journey home begins....

Hah....finally back in KK...was told that the new KKIA looked somewhat like KLIA...and it's true... they even have these level ground elevators....XD... the only difference is the floor...KKIA's floors are NOT shiny....and I don't like it :p

So what happened in KK??? At first nothing exciting..a few yam cha here and a few yam cha there...haha...but it was fun la...:)
This is my church...The Church of Good Samaritan... took this the first Sunday I was back while waiting for my banana brother to finish his GS Kids meeting...XD..the sky is soooo blue and it was very HOT that day...

The reasonly built new building...actually not that new also...but it's new....

Went shopping the other day at Centre Point with my bro and sis...it think it was a few days before my 20th Birthday....My bro said he wanted to look at presents (not for me obviously...), so we went into Just For You...we didn't get any presents but we found these...:

7th December 2008 - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME...

My birthday...finally....or should I say OH NO....I'm 20!!! How are you supposed to feel when u turn 20 anyway? I denifinitely don't feel any more mature or anymore different......do I?

Ok...definitely NOT!!! I dont want to grow up...not yet anyway...it's fun being a kid....XD
I didn't have much of a celebration... my church youth celebrated with me on Friday night at Fruit Monster..haha...Jade, Khin, Clarissa, Pearle, Sabrina, Chok, and banana boi Bro...thanks...muaks...

So now we're left with just two dogs... It was just supposed to be Perdy(black dog) in this pic but Puppy had to come budging in.... hopefully they wont get into any sort of trouble because if Perdy dies, banana boi will be very very very very upset.....

Things That Happened in the Past One Week ....

Hmm...long time didnt blog, but since now I have some free time (and also because I'm not in the mood to study), I'm gonna write about some things that happened in the past one week or so...hehe
First thing that I wanna share:

Time: 3 freaking AM in the morning

What I was doing: Just finish brushing my teeth, ready to crawl onto my bed (zZzZzZ)

Thing that happened: Freaking fire alarm went off, and my floor rep came knocking on our doors saying we all have to go down. yeah...fire alarm just went off, but we took our sweet time going down to the tennis court where we were supposed to assemble(my roomates even went to the toilet first)...then we were had to sit on the floor for 2 over hours waiting for the AJKs to get everyone down, and then watch a dumb dumb fireman show off his skills at putting out fire, then proceeded to watch the magic show where fire disappears when we use the fire extinguisher...(surprise surprise)

My reaction: (excuse me for cussing a bit) WHAT THE HELL???? Who is the one who set the trend of having fire drill exercises in the middle of the night? Luckily it was study week and I don't need to wake up early the next day...(sigh~) but still had no choice but to sit through the whole thing... why can't they to it when everyone is eating or something? who said fire only happens when everyone is sleeping?

Second thing:

I went to Coffee Bean yesterday... went there alone to study because I have been staying too long in my room and I'm getting sick of it....really enjoyed myself although I was alone...had plenty of time to think and get my perspective straight...it's funny coz I can't do it when there's ppl around...I'll tell you what I thought about, but not the outcome of my thoughts..haha...first, thought about studying here in UM; then, about my course,whether I'm enjoying it or not; after that, about Cat and Dog Theology; and after that about whether I should reconsider about the "I'm not dating" thing....haha..

Anyway, I got myself a Ice Blended Hazelnut Latte and a Tomato and Herb pasta thingy (forgot what's it called)....I LOVED the drink...it was fanstastic!! Just thinking bout it makes me wanna drink it again....(licking my lips)...below are some snapshots of my food..haha

Ok, a brief update of my situation now - semester 1 classes have officially ended.. study week have officially started... can't believe how time flies... sometimes still find it unbelievable that I'm already here for one semester...1 down, 7 to go...woo hoo~

Anyway, on the last day of class, after class I mean, I went to meet my high school friends in midvalley..not all, just ding, elaine, juin yi, su ki and me...that day really spent a lot of money...
First stop, Sushi King; then Starbucks because Su Ki didn't eat lunch with us; then walked around, went to Carrefour to buy things; then I went to Jusco to buy sushi for dinner again; after that the guys went to Carl's Jr to eat.....phew!! spent 7 hours in midvalley..muahaha...but really glad to be able meet up with old friends...:D
Elaine tried to self-take our group pic, but as u can see, some of us got "cut out" of the pic.. muahaha...Juin Yi didn't appear at all....muahahahaThen we had to ask one of the Starbucks worker to help us take our pic...

After that, because I was dissatidfied with how I looked in the previous pics, I had my pic taken again with Juin Yi since I will be seeing him the least..this pic was taken outside the toilet while waiting for the others to come out...muahahaha...

Saturday: Went to eat Bak Kut Teh with my roomates in Klang... their elder sis took us... sorry didnt take a pic of the yummy pork soup, because I was kinda "不好意思", didn't want them to think I was ultra weird for taking pictures of the food... but it was delicious..first taste of penisular's bak kut teh...after that they went to Jusco in midvalley (again) to buy sushi...and I bought some too...been eating too much sushi lately... but I can't resist it le...especially when there's salmon and wasabi at stake...wakaka... However, I think the bak kut teh was very heaty..in the afternoon I felt a bit dizzy and had a lil bit of sore throat.... luckily when I woke up today I was fine...thank God!!

My favorite type of sushi - the rice with the salmon on top...yummy~ eaten with wasabi : PERFECT!

Sushi again... I promised myself: NO MORE sushi (at least until I finish my exam)... if not I'll be broke...haha
