Ok, a brief update of my situation now - semester 1 classes have officially ended.. study week have officially started... can't believe how time flies... sometimes still find it unbelievable that I'm already here for one semester...1 down, 7 to go...woo hoo~

Anyway, on the last day of class, after class I mean, I went to meet my high school friends in midvalley..not all, just ding, elaine, juin yi, su ki and me...that day really spent a lot of money...
First stop, Sushi King; then Starbucks because Su Ki didn't eat lunch with us; then walked around, went to Carrefour to buy things; then I went to Jusco to buy sushi for dinner again; after that the guys went to Carl's Jr to eat.....phew!! spent 7 hours in midvalley..muahaha...but really glad to be able meet up with old friends...:D
Elaine tried to self-take our group pic, but as u can see, some of us got "cut out" of the pic.. muahaha...Juin Yi didn't appear at all....muahahahaThen we had to ask one of the Starbucks worker to help us take our pic...
Another shot of us at Starbucks.....
After that, because I was dissatidfied with how I looked in the previous pics, I had my pic taken again with Juin Yi since I will be seeing him the least..this pic was taken outside the toilet while waiting for the others to come out...muahahaha...

Carl Jr's burger - HUGE portion...the pair of hands belong to elaine...

Juin Yi's burger.... the fries in the background are so tempting...
Saturday: Went to eat Bak Kut Teh with my roomates in Klang... their elder sis took us... sorry didnt take a pic of the yummy pork soup, because I was kinda "不好意思", didn't want them to think I was ultra weird for taking pictures of the food... but it was delicious..first taste of penisular's bak kut teh...after that they went to Jusco in midvalley (again) to buy sushi...and I bought some too...been eating too much sushi lately... but I can't resist it le...especially when there's salmon and wasabi at stake...wakaka... However, I think the bak kut teh was very heaty..in the afternoon I felt a bit dizzy and had a lil bit of sore throat.... luckily when I woke up today I was fine...thank God!!

My favorite type of sushi - the rice with the salmon on top...yummy~ eaten with wasabi : PERFECT!

Sushi again... I promised myself: NO MORE sushi (at least until I finish my exam)... if not I'll be broke...haha

Surprise Surprise..!!!!

Phew...just finish my Contracts test today...haha...not exactly sure how I did, all I know is there was NOT enough time to address all the issues, and my handwriting....I'm lucky if my lecturer can read it...(lol..okie, I'm exaggerating, but it was really a messy piece of paper)... I don't want to think of the results yet, leave that to think about when the time comes... hopefully I can pass lar....
Right now just wanna relax and not think about anything... but unfortunately, tomorrow I have English test...(I know, it's so dumb)....but then again I cannot dismiss the importance of language, especially English, in our trade... we were told that we need excellent command of the language to do well in this field.. (note that it's excellent, not just the plain old "good")...wakaka..so although sometimes English class can get very boring, I still try to bear with it... although everytime I still come out of the class complaining of the unbearable boringness....wakakaka... so hopefully I have paid enough attention in class to know all the grammar and pronounciation (yes, pronounciation...we are really being tested on that....like which syllable to emphasise on...and I have to admit I did not really pay attention to this...OH NO!!!)

Anyway, I got something really exciting to share with u guys, actually two..but one of them is not as exciting as the other... which one should I share first?? Hmmmm.... I think I'll share the less exciting one first...today I was very privilaged to be able to meet one of the former High Court judge, also my faculty's ex-dean, and the writer of the Law of Contracts...I present to you...(drum roll): Datuk Sri Visu Sinadurai.... okie, I admit, I wasn't like all :-o "he's a judge" and "he wrote one of our Contracts textbook" ....I didn't even got my pic taken with him...but seriously, it was a real good and honourable experience to meet the guy... he was quite cool actually, made a lot jokes, not at all like what you expect from a judge (we heard from seniors that some judges are really nasty and sarcastic).. the fact that he was willing to share his experience (with us first-years) as a law gradute, to a professor, to a person who worked under the AG Chambers to a judge, proves that he's really a modest person, and I respect him for that...One of the real funny thing was Datuk Sri was bald, except for some hair at the back..worse thing was his head was very shiny, and it was extremely distracting...I kept staring at his shiny head and wondered how he made it so shiny..muahaha...

Moving on to the exciting news, as you might have already seen in the picture below... I MET LEE WAN WAH!!!!!! as in the national badminton player, partner of Choong Tan Fook, olympic player... yes, that Lee Wan Wah!!!!! Actually it happened like this: I was having a badminton practice session (for representing college) in Gim 2 in my uni on Tuesday night, then while we were playing, he suddenly walked in, with some other people...(later I found out that one of them was his wife)..at first I thought he was here to coach or something (as he reasonly retired from the national squad)..then I was so surprised when he started playing with his friends (and wife)...and I could tell he totally lowered down the standard of his game so as to match his wife and friends... After that, all of us requested to take photo with him and he patiently took it with all of us...so nice!!! Imagine meeting him playing badminton in UM!!! At first I couldn't believe it... but it was real... and he's so freaking tall and muscular (of course la, he's an athelete)... haha..

Excuse me for looking so bad in this picture..but I can't help it... I was sweating from playing badminton...:p

Okie la....that's all for this time..next week - study week!!!!

A Break....

Hah...actually not really a break lar....just finished my Islamic Law test today, so can relax a bit tonight....it was an open book test - we were allowed to bring in whatever books we want, flip thru it to find the answer and even discussed with our friends...lol... but the catch is: we dont have enough time... so in the end everyone was kinda copying off each other's papers...lol.. first time I had a test like this..

Anyway, yesterday I got to know my test marks for Legal Method... out of 10%, I got 9.5%.... haha... really thank God la...but this is kinda stressful also, coz now everyone has labelled me as "the one who would score in tests and exams"... when really actually that test was no big deal, it was kind of easy la, because got MCQs...anyone could have got 9.5 if they wanted..most of my coursemates didnt really bother to study... but anyway, the story goes on as such and now I'm stuck being labelled as something I'm not...(sigh~) Take today's test for instance, I really think I flunk it...so let's see what my coursemates will say when the results come out....haha...However, I really wanna thank and praise God for the result...I would like to acknowledge that I couldn't have done it without God and that everything I have now I will not have if He has not given...so let all the glory be unto God....Hallelujah!!!

Tonight I still can afford some time to blog...tomorrow I don't think that I will have such luxuries... coz next Thursday I have another test - CONTRACTS!!!!! and this is no open book test anymore... contracts practically consists of cases, cases, and more cases!!! so many cases need to remember... :'''( ...so you guys out there, I need a little favour, plz pray for me... studying is tiring, but I won't give up...God simply did not create me to give up...and pray that I will always submit my problems and worries unto His hands....

One more thing....my residential college no water!!! ARGGG....this is the third day liao...really cannot stand it..luckily I still can go to my sis's house to bath...pray that the water will come back quickly also...if not really suffering for us who stay in college....:(

that's all for this entry...have a blessed day!!!

Tagged by Juin Yi...

and the fact that I promised to answer the 19 questions in conjunction with his birthday...wakaka..

1. What are your nicknames?
Nicknames? erm....don't think I have any significant ones... oh yeah, my sis sometimes likes to call me "欣~" (dragged) and sometimes sings twinkle twinkle little stars to mock my name....does that count? but both names annoys the hell out of me so plz don't call me that...unless you think your life is too long....muahahaha

2. What is your most favorite thing to do?
Reading books gua...with a cup of Coffee Bean Belgium Chocolate...wakaka

3. What kind of news do you read?
Hmmm...depends where I am. If I'm in KK, I will just read the Daily Express and 诗华日报, both which my father subscribes to. But now that I'm in KL, probably any newspaper that I can get my hands on, the Star or 新洲日报.... I like reading about badminton news...

4. What would you give up in return to eat all you want in the world and not get fat?
NOTHING! I rather eat normally than eat all I want till I get fat. Besides, what's wrong with getting fat, then exercising to lose the fat????

5. Is there someone in your heart right now?
Depends which category the "someone" falls in... but if u r referring to the general "special someone", then no...haha

6.Do you believe you can survive without money?
Yes, by faith, if God puts you in a situation like that, He is sure to put you through.

7. What are you afraid to lose the most?
My direction in life...and my faith in God's plan for me..

8. What do you feel like doing now?
Finish answering these questions and go to sleep....

9. If there’s someone that you love, would you confess to him/her?
Nope...never happened before..I'm more of the passive kind...sometimes can be frustrating, but I don't regret it...

10. List out 3 good points of the person who taggedahem !
Juin Yi ... funny, talkative (in a good way, though somestimes can be too noisy..haha) and creative...

11. What are the requirements that you wish from your other half?
Ever watch Forensic Heros 2? I want someone like Ivan...smart, romantic, protective, sensitive (to my needs and emotions) and 细心.... (sighs dreamily~) BUT (there's always a but and snapping back to reality), I don't believe that such a guy exists in reality, but still waiting to be proven wrong...

12.What is the thing that will make you think he/she is bad?
I don't have a certain he/she so I'm unable to answer this question...wakaka

13. If you had to eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I dunno..burger? coz it has everything...bread, meat and veggie...then I can have a balance diet...

14. If you had a choice to be rich or happy, which one would you pick?
Happy...If you are happy, then it means your life is fulfilling... being rich is sometimes not fulfilling..

15. If you have a chance, which part of your character you would like to change?
Probably none... Because the characteristics that I would like to change are also the ones I want to keep most... it depends on the situation where that character is used...

16. How do you see yourself in 10 years time?
To be brutally frank, I don't answer questions like these, simply because I'm not in control of my life.. I might not be here tomorrow...but if I'm still alive, I just want to be happy or to be able to find happiness in whatever I'm doing...

17. What is the one thing you love about yourself?
Y are all the questions so hard to answer? I don't just love ONE thing about myself, but I can't say that I absolutely love everything about myself either...does that answer the question?wakaka

18. If you can bring only one thing along with you to another world, what would it be?
Nothing....I brought nothing into this world and I will bring nothing out of it...anyway the world that I will be going to have things so much better and holier than this world that if I bring anything, it will be just a disgrace...better to leave without anything

19. What would you like to say to your first girlfriend (be it past or present, even if you happen to have one)?
My first girlfriend? Apparently this question is made for the guys only...so i'll just skip...wakaka...
Alright, I'll be sporting for once and assume that it's 'boy' instead of 'girl'...but even so I can't answer it, because I never had a first boyfriend...not past, not present and even if i have one in the future, let's leave this question to be answered when I actually meet the guy..(how am I supposed to know what to say to someone I have never met????)

So that's about it...I know some of my answers are kinda lengthy, but I think that makes it all the more interesting to read about, instead of one-liner answers... so I hope you guys enjoy reading it... as for tagging people, Juin Yi already tagged all my perspectives, there's no one left for me to tag...wahhaha...until next time~
